Mid Day Meal: Nourishing Future of India

A well nourished child has a well nourished brain. Mid-day meal is a beneficiary scheme which provides various meal programs to the children across the country. The endeavour of Bharti Foundation is to provide proper nourishment for children so that they can be developed mentally and physically. Mid-day meal is hygienic and nutritious which nourishes the children with essential nutrients for proper growth. 
Education is the most important part of our life. India, being an developing country still has a long way to have proper educational system. Bharti Foundation's initiatives are there to empower underprivileged children. The initiative provides education for underprivileged children who come from rural and backward areas where parents can not afford schooling education since they are dependent on fixed daily earnings. Female literacy rate are very poor in our country. Beside providing education for underprivileged children, the mission of Bharti Foundation is also to empower girl education. Encouraging children and their parents and helping them to understand the importance of education for their children's bright future.

In India, majority of population are still living in villages. The educational quality is lot to be desired. Government of India are taking various steps to promote schools in rural India.  However, in the recent times people living in rural areas have understood the importance of education. Children are the future of our country and education is very important for the social, economical and political growth of society and the nation. Bharti Foundation has taken the responsibility to encourage the schools in rural India.
