Schools in Rural India: Building future of Underprivileged

Mid-day meal is a beneficiary scheme for the children living in rural and backward areas of the Society. This scheme has been started to attract the children so that they can get a well nourished diet to develop their mental and physical growth. According to several surveys and researches, mid-day meal scheme has resulted in improving mental growth , catching power and concentration power of the children’s brain. Because of mid-day meal, children have meal together where they learn that each and everyone is equal. Because in some sections of the society, people still practice caste discrimination. Mid-day meal programs are one of the most evolving programs in the country today.

School is the place, where a child creates many memories of his life, a place where he learns the way of living a good life. But for some children, it’s just a dream.
