Schools in Rural India: Building future of Underprivileged

Mid-day meal is a beneficiary scheme for the children living in rural and backward areas of the Society. This scheme has been started to attract the children so that they can get a well nourished diet to develop their mental and physical growth. According to several surveys and researches, mid-day meal scheme has resulted in improving mental growth , catching power and concentration power of the children’s brain. Because of mid-day meal, children have meal together where they learn that each and everyone is equal. Because in some sections of the society, people still practice caste discrimination. Mid-day meal programs are one of the most evolving programs in the country today. 

School is the place, where a child creates many memories of his life, a place where he learns the way of living a good life. But for some children, it’s just a dream. For those children, Bharti foundation is promoting schools in rural areas. In the past few decades, there were hardly any schools in rural India but now things have changed a lot parents in rural areas  are being encouraged by Bharti foundation to send their children to schools in rural areas. Schools in rural India provide various education programme especially for girls and underprivileged children.

India, being the fastest growing Economies in the world, lacks in basic elementary education for underprivileged children. The Bharti foundation initiatives have been constantly working on education for underprivileged children. Education can solve various problems of the society such as poverty, caste discrimination, gender discrimination and many other problems which affects the development of the nation. The endeavour of Bharti foundation is working at the grassroots level which is spreading awareness about education among the people living in rural areas.
